CH-CH-CH-CH-CHANGES!

Is David Bowie singing in your head now? Yes, he’s singing in my head, too.

The first day of autumn is on Monday and it’s the perfect time to talk about change.

I am switching gears and want to update everyone on what that means.

As many of you know, I have a background in writing and have enjoyed utilizing my skills by helping people craft professional emails, write and update resumes, as well as ghostwrite and edit blog posts. I thought I would try my hand at freelance writing as a business to see how I liked it. After a trial period of a few months, I’ve come to the realization that…

It’s just not my cup of tea…and that’s OK!

I like to help people and I love to write, but I much prefer to write about topics of my choosing in my style and on my timetable. I have decided rather than force something that doesn’t bring me joy, I would make a change now. Why wait!?

What does that mean for my website and blog?

I still like to write, but I want to write for pleasure.

I don’t want writing to turn into a chore that I resent. I want to share positive experiences with the world and leave my mark on the pages of history. I am certain that what I write about will evolve based on what I fancy on a particular day, as well as what my followers are interested in reading.

There is such a vast ocean of information on the internet, but I do not believe that it’s saturated!

How often do you perform a quick Google search about a product, service, or simple, everyday occurrence that you would like to gain additional insight on or to get a new perspective, and your search results are inadequate?

I find this happens to me frequently!

How many times have you heard the saying that if one person has a question, it’s highly likely that others also have the same question?

I may not have all of the answers, but I might have a few suggestions along the way.

I would be honored if you would continue to follow along on this journey with me. As always, I am open to any suggestions you may have for future blog post topics. Please feel free to leave a comment below or send me a note!

Thank you for taking the time to read today’s post! If you are interested in staying up to date, be sure to follow me on social media.
